Hassela Ski Resort
If you come to ski, there are great slopes at Hassela Ski Resort. There are also great cross-country trails and you can fish for rainbow trout in the lake next to the resort.
The drive from Huset i Hassela to the Ski Resort takes about 15 minutes.
Snowmobiling
Trying out or renting a snowmobile is possible under certain conditions. The same applies to quad bikes.

Ice fishing
Winter fishing is a bit special. Often it’s more of an outing with coffee and sausage grilling. It is important to have the right clothing, especially warm and waterproof boots. You can ice fish in our lake and in nearby “put and take” lakes. Fishing licenses must be purchased and cost 150 SEK per person for one week. Fishing is free for children and young people under the age of 15. We have ice drills, rods and other accessories that our guests can borrow.
To fish for precious fish such as char, trout and rainbow trout, which can be found in three nearby lakes, you have to buy a day pass which costs 180 SEK. A maximum of three fish may be taken home from these lakes.

Hot tub
If you rent our holiday home, a well-maintained spa bath is included. The only thing you need to remember is to shower before bathing. We take care of the rest!

Visit the wildlife park in Järvsö – The Wild Kingdom is home to Nordic animals such as moose, bear, wolf and many more species. They are in as natural an environment as possible, on their own terms. The wilderness is just over an hour away by car, about 78 km from the holiday home.
